3 DAYS BWINDI IMPENETRABLE NATIONAL PARK

These 3 days will take you in the tropical rainforest national park of Uganda known as Bwindi impenetrable forest. This park is known for its mountain gorillas and Albertine rift valley birds and tropical rainforest in Uganda. The park contains a half of mountain gorillas that has remained in the world and the forestry people known as the Batwa/ pygmies. Bwindi impenetrable park is a home of over 355 bird species including 23 Albertine endemic species, forest birds and migratory birds which makes the park the best destination for bird watching in Uganda, mountain gorillas tracking, nature walk, research, hiking, Batwa trailers, and so many other activities. Animals that you will find in this park include mountain gorillas, chimpanzees, and other primates like monkeys, forestry elephants, forestry buffaloes, sitatungas, and so many other animals mentioned but a few.Activities to be done within 3 days

Day 1: transfer to Bwindi impenetrable forest

Day 2: gorillas tracking and Batwa trailers.

Day 3: transfer back to Entebbe.

Detailed itinerary

Day 1: transfer to Bwindi impenetrable forest: you will wake up in the morning, have your breakfast and embark to your vehicle for a long journey trip/ safari to western Uganda which will take about 9-10 hours drive with a stopover at Uganda equator and then proceed to Mbarara town then ntungamo to kabale for lunch if we are still in lunch time but if not, we will have our lunch in Mbarara town then we proceed on our journey to Bwindi impenetrable forest. We shall reach in Bwindi impenetrable late in the evening and we will check in the lodge that the company has booked for us, we refresh up, have dinner and night stay at the specific lodge while we are preparing for the next day interesting activity of gorillas tracking in the deep forests of Bwindi.

Day 2: gorillas tracking and Batwa trailers: we will wake up very early morning at around 06:30 am, have breakfast and embark to our vehicle drive to the park headquarters for a short briefing about the activity we are about do. After the briefing, we will be guided by a ranger guide in to the deep thick forest of Bwindi and start tracking the mountain gorillas. The most important thing is that during tracking, we will be able to see different primates and wild games like elephants, buffaloes, birds, if nature allows us while we are proceeding on our track. After finding our main interested mountain gorillas, we will spend only one (1) hour with them learning on how the behaver, feed, groom, mate, breastfeed, and so many interesting things about them as we do, they also do because we are so how related with them as we share about 97.8 DNA human. After return back to the lodge for lunch and preparation for evening Batwa community walk and interact. after then Batwa community walk, we will return back to the lodge, have dinner and night stay.

Day 3: transfer back to Entebbe: it will be the last day of the 3 days in the jungle, we will have breakfast and check out of the lodge, embark to our journey and set off. With our first stopover in Mbarara town for lunch and then proceed to Masaka- Kampala then Entebbe
